The hosts Maurizio and Laura were charming and very helpful, even picking us up from the airport and delivering us to the train station. The apartment was tastefully furnished, clean, and comfortable, with a particularly comfortable bed. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated having the two bikes available for exploring Lucca and the surrounding area. The location inside the walls of the old town was perfect for getting around.

The apartment was absolutely amazing! The fully fitted kitchenette with a dishwasher was a game-changer for me. I loved being able to cook my own meals and not worry about washing dishes. The city views from the apartment were breathtaking, and the bathroom with a shower was so convenient. As a solo traveler, this apartment ticked all the boxes for me!

Honestly, I can't think of anything that I didn't like about the apartment. But hey, that's just my personal opinion!

The apartment was on the top floor with steep stone stairs and no elevator. The lighting on the stairs was poor, making it difficult to navigate.

The location was perfect, situated near a charming square and a scenic canal. We also received the added bonus of being able to borrow bicycles for a beautiful day trip through the Tuscan countryside. this was a fantastic experience.

What a fantastic stay at Il Rifugio Degli Innamorati. Di Lucca! Maurizio and Laura were wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. The location within the historical center of Lucca was perfect and everything was within walking distance. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. Maurizio's restaurant recommendations were superb and we had some of the best meals in Italy.
